What is (bo)Tox and how long does it last?
(bo)Tox is a neurotoxin that temporarily relaxes muscles to smooth wrinkles. Results appear within 3 to 5 days, peak at 2 weeks, and last 3 to 4 months.
How is filler different from (bo)Tox?
(bo)Tox relaxes muscles that cause wrinkles. Filler adds volume to areas that have lost it. They target different concerns and are often used together for comprehensive rejuvenation.
Does filler hurt?
Most fillers contain lidocaine for comfort. Numbing cream is applied before treatment. Most clients report mild pressure but tolerable discomfort.
Can filler be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with Hylenex (hyaluronidase) if needed. This is one of the major safety advantages of HA fillers.
