Derma PRP

Our newest treatment. We take a small blood draw, turn your plasma into a gel, and our nurses inject it where your face has lost volume. The intro price is $350 a session.

The treatment

What is Derma PRP?

Derma PRP is made from your own blood. We take a small blood draw and spin it to separate the plasma, and the Cellenis system turns the plasma's proteins into a gel that releases growth factors slowly. Injected into the face, it can help improve the appearance of volume and skin quality. Results vary.

Who is Derma PRP for?

Adults who want some volume back or better-looking skin, and like the idea of using their own plasma. We use it under the eyes, in the lines from your nose to your mouth, on fine lines around the lips, and on cheeks, neck, and hands. Some health conditions and medications rule it out, and it isn't done during pregnancy, so your nurse goes through your history at a free consult first.

Good to know

Because it's made from your own blood, allergic reactions are unlikely. Like any injection, it can bring swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising where it goes in. It's temporary, and results vary from person to person.

How many Derma PRP sessions will I need?

Usually at least two, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart, then a maintenance session every 6 to 8 months. That's the maker's guidance, and your nurse adjusts it to your face at the consult. The three-session intro price covers that first round.

How much does Derma PRP cost in St. Clair?

Our intro price is $350 for one session or $900 for three. The consult is free, and your nurse tells you how many sessions make sense for you before anything is drawn or injected. Cherry can spread the cost, subject to approval.

Is Derma PRP the same as filler?

No. Hyaluronic acid filler is a gel made in a lab. Derma PRP is made from your own plasma during your visit, and it releases growth factors slowly once it's placed. As Grace puts it, it's your own biology doing the work. Your nurse will tell you honestly which one fits what you want to change.

Can I be allergic to Derma PRP?

Because it's made from your own blood, allergic reactions are unlikely. Like any injection, it can cause swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising where it goes in. Your nurse goes through your health history first, and some conditions and medications mean it isn't the right choice for you.
