What is a VI Peel?
The VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel and the strongest peel on our menu, chosen for sun damage, pigment, and acne marks. It usually brings visible peeling for 3 to 5 days and comes with an aftercare kit. It's $250, or $700 for a bundle of 3.
How much peeling should I expect?
Light peels may cause a little flaking, or none. The VI Peel usually causes visible peeling for 3 to 5 days. That's normal. Let it shed on its own and keep your hands off.
How often can I get a chemical peel?
Light peels can be repeated every 2 to 4 weeks. Medium-depth peels like the VI Peel are usually spaced 3 to 4 months apart.
Chemical peel vs microneedling?
A peel works from the surface: an acid loosens the outer layer so it sheds. Microneedling makes tiny punctures that prompt new collagen. Peels are often chosen for tone and pigment, microneedling for texture and scars, and both can sit in one plan, spaced apart. Your provider helps you choose at a free consult.
Can I wear makeup after a peel?
Wait at least 24 hours after a light peel. After a VI Peel, follow the aftercare kit instructions you get at your appointment, which cover when makeup can go back on.
