How does waxing work?
Waxing removes hair from the root. Warm wax grips the hair and a quick pull lifts it out, so regrowth takes weeks rather than days. The wax used here is made for sensitive skin, and the menu runs from a brow clean-up to a full leg.
Who is waxing for?
Anyone with at least a quarter inch of growth, about 2 to 3 weeks after shaving. Retinoids, some acne medications, and a recent sunburn make skin more fragile, so mention them before a face wax.

How long does hair need to be for waxing?
At least a quarter inch, which is about 2 to 3 weeks of growth after shaving. That gives the wax enough to grip, so the hair comes out cleanly from the root.
How long do waxing results last?
Usually 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and the area. Booking on a regular schedule keeps you on track.
Does waxing hurt?
There's a brief sting with each pull, and then it's over. Most people find it gets easier with regular appointments.
What should I avoid before a wax?
Skip exfoliating, tanning, and retinoid creams on the area for a few days before, and come with clean, dry skin. If you take prescription acne medication, tell us first, because it can make skin more fragile.
